As the Onside Carshalton project restarts after an 18 month absence we have restructured what we do, session times and locations. Full details of our restructure are included below. Currently we have removed our 'Onside Tots' programme for children aged 3 - 6 years old. We have reluctantly taken this decision to give us time to rebuild the Onside Carshalton project. It is our hope that Onside Tots will reopen again in the near future.
Sunday Football (School Years 3 - 6)
Junior football coaching sessions are held every Sunday afternoon in term time from 2 - 3 pm at the bottom end of Stanley Park. Sessions are open to all children in School Years 3 - 6 and are designed for players of all abilities. Sunday sessions also include the 'Onside League', an internal competition running throughout the season.
Dates for 2021
Please note that attendance must be booked in advance, either through the online booking system below or by contacting firstname.lastname@example.org
Onside Seniors (School Years 6 - 8)
As an additional training session for older players, we are holding Tuesday and Friday night football at the Oaks High School. Tuesday sessions will be held on the MUGA at the rear of the school from 7-8pm and are open to children in school years 6 - 8. Friday night football will also be available each week in term time from 8 - 9pm and is open to school years 7 - 9. Places are limited and should be booked online.
Our midweek sessions differ to our Sunday sessions in that there is a larger emphasis on match-play and will also include a focus on the 'Onside Goals' programme, looking each week at one of the Onside Soccer values (Leadership, Resilience, Health & Well-Being, Friendship, Respect and Integrity).
All dates for midweek sessions are detailed in our booking system.
Onside Girls (School Years 3 - 8)
At Onside Soccer we are committed to ensuring that football is open to everyone and this season we are opening up a session specifically for girls who want to play. This session will be held in Stanley Park on Sunday afternoons and is open to girls of all abilities in school years 3 - 8.
Sessions will include a warm up, some skill drills and will finish with a small sided game. Training will be held outdoors on a grass area so please ensure that proper clothing and footwear are worn.
Spaces will be limited so please book in advance using the link below. First session is on the 10th October and will be held weekly in term time thereafter.
