Quiz Night

Come and join us for a friendly quiz evening.  Ten rounds of questions, snacks and soft drinks provided (but please feel free to bring your own as well!).

All proceed will go towards our girls football project in Chennai, helping girls rescued from human trafficking gangs across southern India.  Your support provides weekly sports sessions for the girls, counselling and vocational training.

Project Background

Since 2023 we have partnered with the Sir Stanley Matthews Foundation to help a group of girls living in a children's home in Chennai in southern India.  All of the girls have either been sold by their families to human trafficking gangs or have literally been kidnapped off the streets.   Without exception they have all suffered terribly.  Some were made to to join criminal gangs whilst others were forced to work in brothels in Chennai.  Eventually rescued by the authorities,  they have all been rejected by their families, will remain in care until the age of 18 and are hugely vulnerable.  Our project helps in a small way to get their lives back on track by providing counselling, sports activities, mentorship and extra educational support.  Your support really makes a huge difference to what we can do and provides a brighter future for these girls.
