Mum's & Dad's Football

After starting our children's' football training sessions in Carshalton we quickly realised that there were a large number of Dads and quite a few Mums who were very keen to get out on the pitch and join in a kickabout but who, for various reasons, hadn't been playing football for a while.  To give everyone, and not just the kids, an opportunity to play we booked a few five-a-side sessions at Wallington Grammar School and at Stanley Park High Sports Hall and invited parents to come along for a friendly game.  All of the sessions filled up very quickly and we now hold two regular games every month.

We appreciate how difficult it can be to play mid-week if you have been working all day and also that weekends are precious so we vary our session times to try to accommodate everyone.  For people who can't make it along on weekends we hold one session at Wallington Grammar School at 8pm on a Wednesday evening and for those who don't fancy playing mid-week we have a session once a month on a Sunday afternoon at Stanley Park High School.

Players of all abilities are welcome to come along and play so whether you fancy yourself as the next Leo Messi or haven't kicked a ball before in our life you are very welcome to join us and try it out.  Our focus is very much on inclusiveness and getting people active so although it's always nice to be on the winning team our objective is to see people from the local community come along, enjoy meeting new people and making new friends, enjoy playing the game and leaving the venue happy that they made the effort!  If you happen to score a few goals in the process then so much the better!

Places for each session fill up pretty quickly but if you fancy playing then check out the dates on our booking page and contact either Paul Harbinson or Steve Larcombe to see if any spaces are available.  If the date isn't available we'll happily put you down for the next available session.  While each session is free of charge we ask that, if possible, players make a donation of £6 to cover our costs for venue hire, etc.  You can contact us directly by clicking HERE or by visiting our Facebook page HERE.
